The Suit Fits
I didn't start running with any of the health benefits in mind. It wasn't as though I wanted to loose inches or pounds, but it turned out to be a natural outcome. As I put on miles I took off weight. Never (as far as I know) in an unhealthy way, but while running 20 then 30 then 40-60 miles a week during 5-6 runs a week for 2 years it happens.
So now my suit fits. I could squeeze in before. I even had a local tailor (Sal) add an inch to one of the pairs of pants at one time to help make the suit usable.
But now, without event trying I can get the buttons buttoned. I don't have to suck in my gut to get in. There is room to spare for tucking in my shirt properly.
This is a special suit because I got it way back in high school. Custom fit at the time at a shop in Lakeside Mall. Pretty fancy. And still very functional. A testimony to quality.
Feeling fancy. Feeling good.
